Connected Community Schools, located at 207 North James Street in Rome, New York, is a transformative institution that brings together various stakeholders to support the success and well-being of students. Through the community schools initiative, launched in Rome and expanded regionally with the support of the AFT Innovation Fund, Connected Community Schools work with Connected Districts to provide daily resources and support to students. Our mission is to connect the community, local agencies, services, organizations, businesses, and individuals to the students in order to help them become successful, productive, and engaged citizens.
