Located at 98 South Salina Street, our business invites you to embark on a journey back in time to the memorable visit of Marquis de Lafayette in 1825. As one of the iconic figures of the American Revolution, Lafayette's journey through the United States left an indelible mark on the hearts of many, including the residents of what is now Onondaga County. Join us as we commemorate this significant event with the unveiling of a historical marker in the southeastern corner of Clinton Square. This marker is part of a larger initiative by The Lafayette Trail, a nonprofit organization dedicated to documenting and celebrating Lafayette’s 1824-1825 Farewell Tour across 24 states. In collaboration with the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the enduring bond between French and American citizens.
