Welcome to the First Congregational Church of Riverhead, a vibrant and welcoming place of worship located at 103 1st Street, Riverhead, New York. As a cornerstone of the community, our church is dedicated to spiritual growth, community service, and fostering a sense of belonging for all who enter our doors. Our Bread and More Soup Kitchen continues to be a beacon of hope, offering free to-go meals every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:30 to 6:15 PM. We believe in the power of service and community support, which is why we are also collecting school supplies through the last Sunday of August. Donations can be dropped off at the church office, our Thrift Shop, or in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Monetary donations are also welcome, and our dedicated volunteers are ready to do the shopping on your behalf.

Welcome to Calverton National Cemetery, a place of honor and remembrance located in Wading River, New York. As one of the largest national cemeteries in the United States, Calverton serves as a resting place for those who have served our nation with distinction. Established in 1978 on a 902-acre tract of land, the cemetery was created to meet the needs of the greater New York area, home to nearly three million veterans and their families. Calverton National Cemetery offers a serene and respectful environment for families to honor their loved ones. The cemetery accommodates casketed burials, in-ground interment of cremains, and placement in columbaria. An ossuary is also available for those who choose this option. The Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) digital platform allows families and friends to share tributes, photos, and stories, preserving the legacy of nearly 10 million veterans.

Our historic Lionel Layout, with its 83 accessories, is a must-see for model train enthusiasts.
