SUNY Canton Esports is a university located at 34 Cornell Drive in Canton, New York, United States. The institution offers students the opportunity to compete in video game competitions at the collegiate level through varsity and intramural matches. SUNY Canton currently participates in a variety of popular games such as Guilty Gear Strive, League of Legends, Omega Strikers, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Valorant, with plans to add more games and teams in the future. As the first college in New York to join the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), SUNY Canton competes with around 40 other colleges and universities in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC). The institution has also opened the first collegiate esports arena in the State University of New York system, featuring a 1,800 square-foot gaming room equipped with high-end gaming rigs, ergonomic chairs, LED backlit keyboards and mice, as well as consoles for future gameplay options.
