As the first college in New York to join the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), SUNY Canton competes with around 40 other colleges and universities in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC). The institution has also opened the first collegiate esports arena in the State University of New York system, featuring a 1,800 square-foot gaming room equipped with high-end gaming rigs, ergonomic chairs, LED backlit keyboards and mice, as well as consoles for future gameplay options.
