Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH) is a nonprofit organization located at 1745 Main Street in Keeseville, New York. Our mission is to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the unique architectural heritage of the Adirondack region. We are pleased to announce the promotion of Samantha Johnson to Membership and Communications Director. For the past thirty years, AARCH has been advocating for the preservation of historic sites such as Debar Pond Lodge. We are supported by the New York State Council on the Arts and have received the Trustees' Award for Organizational Excellence from the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Welcome to CFJ Park Carousel, a cherished gem located at 98 CFJ Boulevard, Johnson City, New York. This historic park, established in 1923, was named in honor of Charles F. Johnson and was designed for the enjoyment of the Endicott-Johnson employees and the local community. At the heart of the park is the magnificent carousel, a generous gift from George F. Johnson to the children of Johnson City. As one of only 19 remaining Allan Herschell Carousels in the world, our carousel is a testament to timeless craftsmanship, featuring 72 beautifully hand-carved wooden horses known as "jumpers." The park is a vibrant community hub, offering a range of recreational facilities including a spray park, little league and softball fields, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, playground equipment, and three picnic pavilions. Restroom facilities are also available for your convenience. The carousel and spray park operate daily from 12 PM to 6 PM, weather permitting, from the 4th of July through Labor Day weekend.

With her generous endowment of over $1,000,000, she laid the foundation for a healthcare institution that continues to serve the community today as part of NewYork-Presbyterian / Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
