Unlike typical mountain peaks, Woodhull offers a lengthy, flat approach along an old railroad bed, making it ideal for mountain biking enthusiasts and those seeking a more varied hiking experience. The first five miles of the trail are mostly flat, providing a smooth ride for mountain bikers throughout most of the year, or a scenic cross-country skiing path during winter months. As you journey along, you'll pass the turnoff to Remsen Falls before reaching a bridge where the biking path ends and the hiking trail begins.
