Welcome to the Cooperstown Fire Department, proudly serving as the guardians of "The Home of Baseball" for over 200 years. Located at 24 Chestnut Street, Cooperstown, New York, our dedicated team of approximately 75 volunteers is committed to protecting and assisting the residents and visitors of Cooperstown and the surrounding areas in Otsego County. Our Fire/Rescue, EMS, and Fire Police teams are at the forefront of emergency response and community service, continuing a rich tradition of excellence. We actively engage in public safety education, special events, and community support activities throughout the year. Join us for our annual Fourth of July fireworks display and the EMS-sponsored Winter Food Drive, among other community events.
