He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has developed a robust practice in the New York Hudson Valley before returning to Long Island in 2015.

"Dr. Christophoro's staff is very pleasant and friendly. I usually see John, Dr. Christophoro's PA, who is extremely knowledgeable and personable. John take his time with me and explains everything fully. Always asks if I have any questions and there's always very honest with his answers. The only downside is always the wait time past my appointment time. I got to the office early by about 20 minutes and I still had to wait And was seen 30 minutes after my appointment time. But I contribute that to Dr. Christophoro and John being very popular and personable taking their time with each patient."

John Angelo, he has really great bedside manner and he REALLY listens to you. He is also very detailed in his explanations and suggestions for treatment and never pushes you into a decision. Dr. Christoforyou performed carpal release surgery on me. He is a great surgeon! Everything with the surgery far exceeded my expectations. I am due for surgery on the other hand and am not even dreading it. highly recommend them both.!!!"
