Budget Truck Rental

"Great customer service! I had originally reserved a 12’ truck, but the service rep called me shortly after to notify me that my requested size truck was not available. He worked with me to find a truck that fit my needs and communicated well in advance of my move in case I needed to make other arrangements. The truck was ready for pickup and nice and clean. Thanks for making my move as painless as possible and for communicating clearly about adjustments."

"If I could give them a zero star I would. The location I rented from told me I could keep the truck an extra 2 days, I guess that location never told the drop off location because I got an irate call from the person in Elmsford saying he had to rent it to someone else . I rushed and the location then hit me with a bunch of extra charges. I will never use them again."

"I cannot say enough about Stephen that helped us when we needed it. He answered all of our questions, helped us decide what size truck would be best to help save us money. He offered suggestions on moving tips and tricks and better ways to move. He was very polite kind and courteous. He walks us out to the truck & went over all the features with us to be sure we were safe and comfortable with driving it. If I had to suggest to a friend or family to rent a vehicle to move it would be at Budget Truck Rental with Steven hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had renting vehicles. "They didn't have the truck we reserved and didn't offer any alternatives or even help finding another location. The absent manager kept yelling at a mechanic who had never attended the front desk and was near tears while the absent manager yelled at him on the phone. We waited for 50 minutes while most on line were sent away without a truck."

"Employee at shop was rude and extremely short when explaining insurance options. I attempted to return the truck back with a full tank of gas but didn't notice that gas station attendant did not fill it up all the way. I was charged an extra $30 PLUS the 1/4 of a tank of gas since I returned the truck full with 3/4 of gas after traveling 120 miles for the day. I tried to explain to the same man that I did not purposely intend to come back with Gas below full (had receipt to show proof) and he didn't care. He gave me the morning to come back to fill it up but I could not get to Elmsford in time since I work in Manhattan. Now- I am all about keeping my end of the deal but I at least attempted to fill the tank up with Gas. As a returning customer, I thought I would be giving a pass. I would have been more than happy to pay for 1/4 of a tank of gas that I missed....but to charge me an extra $30 on top of it?!"
