Recently, the City of Lackawanna has partnered with Empire Building Diagnostics (EBD) and IT FITZ Concrete to transform over 4.7 acres of long-vacant industrial property on Alliance Drive in the First Ward. These projects are set to create new jobs and stimulate economic activity in the area. EBD will expand its operations, adding 20-30 new jobs, while IT FITZ Concrete plans to build a new office and warehouse facility.
