The rehabilitation project, initiated in 2018, focused on the vital gatehouses that regulate the flow of water in and out of the reservoir. Improvements included refurbishing Gatehouses No. 5 and No. 7, cleaning and repairing brick facades, installing new security systems, and replacing the roof of Gatehouse No. 7. Additionally, historically appropriate lighting and railings were added to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the site.
