This program encompasses ten specialized Field Advisory Committees (FACs) that include Cardiovascular, Geriatrics and Extended Care, Mental Health, Metabolic Syndrome/Diabetes, Oncology, Perioperative, Polytrauma & Rehabilitation, Emergency Department, Pain Management, and ICU. These committees work in tandem with various VHA program offices to formulate policies and ensure effective communication across the field.
