Ogdensburg Head Start
Ogdensburg Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive school readiness program located at 801 Park Street in Ogdensburg, New York. The program is designed for children between 3 and 5 years of age and is led by experienced, certified teachers who provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for all children, including those with special needs. Children in the program will develop skills in math, science, literacy, language, social/emotional, and physical health and development through play-based learning experiences. There are both full day and part day classrooms available, as well as home-based services for families who prefer to have their child learn in the comfort of their own home. Transportation is provided to and from the center in agency-owned buses with safety restraints and monitors. Children are served meals and receive screenings for growth and development, vision, hearing, and speech evaluations. Families also receive assistance in accessing community resources.
Augustinian Academy
Augustinian Academy is a primary school located at 317 West Street in Carthage, New York, United States. We proudly serve the communities of Carthage, Fort Drum, Copenhagen, Lowville, Beaver River, and all outlying areas. Busing is provided from many school districts, and military families are welcome! Approximately 70% of our student body comes from military families, and we are proud to serve the families of Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division. Busing is provided from all on-post housing and most surrounding off-post communities.
