"I felt compelled to write a review because I know how hard it can be to pick a first school for our little ones and I am so very happy with Cititots at Marcy for our kids. My daughter started there in 3k a bit early (she joined the 3k class a year early when a spot opened up because we felt it’d be good for her to get exposure to the classroom setting — until she’s officially eligible for 3k, we have an agreement with Cititots that we’ll pay a bit extra for her to join the class). The staff feeds the kids a well rounded breakfast lunch and snack daily. To my surprise- they also teach Spanish! My daughter comes home often with cute drawings and presents for holidays. It’s clear that my daughter is really happy there and that’s what’s most important. Ruben and Glenda are very nice staff leaders and the teachers especially Ms Cristina are so thoughtful. My daughter had trouble acclimating initially and Ms Cristina gave her the right attention and support needed to ensure she became comfortable. One thing that I think some parents over value is constant communication from teachers — this is to say: at cititots, I am not receiving texts or pictures from teachers all day long nor do we get constant updates about what lunch they’re having etc. I don’t view this as a negative but more that the teachers are actually focusing on spending time with the kids vs spending time with the parents. Overall, I’m really glad we found cititots and we will be sending my son there for 3k as well!"
"School is very unorganized and the “principal” is very unprofessional, they seem confused on what they are supposed to do and are not teaching the kids much of anything. Theres been several times i sent my kid to school with his lunch bag and he came home with everything untouched, the teacher also is very demanding on things out of ones control this is not the school to bring your kid to"
