"The service was great. However, the food came to us barely warm, the Lomo saltado was bland, and for the price, I expected a better presentation. Also if you want to enjoy the live music, you must make a reservation. This was definitely a disappointing experience. The other 2 Candelas are superior to this fancy version of Candela Restaurant."
"We visited this location on a Saturday evening, in December- surprisingly it was not terribly busy. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the servers were very presentable. There is an extensive menu, and the food was delicious. We ordered papitas a la huancaina and anticuchos as an appetizer. As entrees, we ordered the : filete de pescado en salsa de camarones, aji de gallina, salmon al grill, arroz chaufa de carne, and(x2) chicha morada. The food was great. My only gripe was with the servers. When we arrived, the female server was less than friendly- in fact she seemed peeved to have to serve us. I don't think her behavior was appropriate, and dissapointing to say the least. It was very obvious that she had no interest in providing good customer service, which is a shame given that the food is delicious. However, good food is not enough to want to return to this establishment. I highly recommend that the servers are given further training in customer service, and are reminded that even if customers don't "look" the part, they should not be judged. Our money is just as good as anyone else's- especially since our bill was over $200 plus a very generous tip ( which was given despite the poor service)."
"We had an awesome excellent experience. Tyara our waitress was so amazing. She knows how to give a good time. James the Mgr work so diligently and hard. I really appreciated him sitting down with us. Means a lot. Good vibes, great food, something exotic and different for the neighborhood."
"Loved it here. Phenomenal restaurant, which I highly recommend. Randomly chose this place & from the window you can see how nicely the place is decorated. The interior and exterior is eye catching. Service was phenomenal. Staff were professional, courteous, and attentive. Ambience is amazing. Parking available. They have nights that offer live music, karaoke, e.t.c. they also have rooms that can host large parties and events. Definitely make your way here."
