"Unfortunately, I was discriminated by a fellow African-American person all because I wasn’t dressed fancy enough. I had on sweatpants and a hoodie because I was doing deliveries. I came in to get a quick refill of my drink, which I’ve been doing for months now, and he followed me and asked for my membership number, I’ve never had anyone ask for my membership number before usually they smile made pleasant conversation but this man wanted to know my membership number he explained that they needed to account for all the drinks. I said you know what never mind cause by this time I was already offended if I was dressed as the white woman in front of me with the Louis Vuitton bag and $900 boots, he would never ask me for my membership number I would’ve got my drink picked up my Uber order and left, but because of the way I was dressed and I’m on minority felt comfortable enough to even ask me again for my membership number as I was waiting for my Uber order to be given to me even though I wasn’t getting a drink, he wanted my membership number. I thought about canceling my membership because I had the unlimited sips program, but I enjoy other stores a whole lot better, and I’ll never go back to this Walt Whitman store even for a delivery ever again because you shouldn’t treat people poorly because of the way they’re dressed never judge a book by its cover"

""Sorry for the crumbs" TLDR: The manager on hand at 4:30-5pm on Saturday Oct 21, 2023 should not be trusted to ensure food safety because they cannot be bothered to do anything other than disrespectfully glare at customers and employees from the side of the handoff. Within my first minute in this Panera I counted 5 house flies, and once I got to the bakery section I saw many, many, more flies on top of the baked goods. There was only around 15-20 customers in the establishment so the flies definitely out numbered the people. After ordering and waiting, I got my food and did not get a drink, and asked about the drinks but was handed an empty cup and told nothing else, I am not sure if he wanted me to make my own drink or not but I don't think they would want me behind the line to make the "Charged" drink I had ordered. I had to show him my receipt before he would provide me with the drink, because he and the older gentleman behind the line, had no way of knowing what I ordered. The drink was absolutely made incorrect, I couldn't finish it, but I was unwilling to let them know after the issue I had getting it because the older gentleman who appeared to be the manager was aggressive, unhelpful, and simply did not care about the customers. I wish that was the worst of it but, the lobby looked as if it had not been cleaned in hours, with garbage on almost every table, and every single garbage can overfilling, the beverage stand had sleeves of lids on them just laid out on the counter that apparently the manager on duty could not be bothered to ensure they were in the holders on the condiment stand. Empty beverage cups where everywhere, and spills in multiple locations that someone could have fallen on. I used the bathroom as well, and it stunk of urine due to what looked like a complete mess of liquid all over the floor by the urinal and toilet. I do not think this was a today only situation as a booths seat had looked as if it had been torn through at one point, the ceiling had more water stained tiles than clean ones, lights were out all over the lobby. There were some signs that said "Sorry for the crumbs" as if there was some long term construction going on, however that was completely unclear, and having construction going on is not an excuse to have food safety issues like flies, slipping hazards around the lobby floor, and a completely disgusting bathroom. The food was fine but I had to swat a fly away when I was picking it up. The manager saw me swat away the fly, saw me be forced to show my receipt to have a forgotten drink be made, saw the garbage cans overflowing from the handoff area, and could see the complete and total disarray the beverage area was in. I saw the employee who had helped me ask the manager if he could call someone in to help and the manager was dismissive of the employee saying something that sounded to me like "you don't need extra people to help you do your job right now". The manager during this entire time was just standing and glaring at customers and the employee's, he did not appear to be helping them at all and clearly did not treat his fellow coworkers or the customers with respect. Ill be honest, tables get dirty during busy times in food establishments, flies can get into places like this as well, and people can be rude when they are overworked. If a manager is not helping out and flat out being disrespectful to the employees when they ask for support its no wonder this store is in such systemic disrepair."

"Always love food at Panera…they are bit on pricey side but worth every penny."

"Decided to have an evening bite. Easy ordering, order was accurate, and food was filling. Sidenote* it's off-putting to ask for a tip at the end of a transaction for an establishment such as this in addition to having a tip jar next to the register. I still enjoyed my dining experience."

"Panera overall gets a 5 with me. And this one is very good. It's on the small side, but still well-stocked and with divided seating areas that make the most of the space. Counter presentation of baked goods was neat and tidy. Nothing missing. Nothing picked over. I was impressed with that, because I came in a little after the morning rush. Everything was still fresh and stocked. Service maybe a little slow, but I wasn't in a big rush. I love the new express order and pickup system now in Paneras. Really smart idea, since most of them get quite busy at lunch time."
