As a vibrant place of worship, we are dedicated to opening our doors wide to minister to both our congregation and the community. Under the inspiring leadership of Rev. Kimberly L. Detherage, the first female pastor in our church's 196-year history, we strive to provide a welcoming environment where faith can flourish and community bonds can strengthen. At St. Mark AME Church, we believe in the power of service and community engagement. During the pandemic, we remained a beacon of hope by operating a food pantry, hosting COVID-19 antibody testing and vaccinations, offering grief workshops, and partnering with local organizations to ensure the well-being of our community.
