"If you love your hair, do not go here. I went to this salon a month ago and I deeply regret it. First of all the stylist was late. I should have just left right then and there because it was the first red flag that she was not professional. I had very long hair and in the consultation I told her I wanted a trim, because it was getting very tangled lately. She confirmed she would cut 2 inches off. During the shampoo she was very aggressive and created a complete rats nest out of my hair. She started combing it out by just ripping the comb through my hair. I expressed concern and she said it was normal to have that much hair loss. It was not for me. I confirmed that she would cut 2 inches. She then proceeded to cut 7 inches off of my hair. It's not even an even cut. It is awkward and her process was elementary. When she was blow drying it, she created another knot that she had to rip out with the comb. I could literally feel and see how much thinner my hair and pony tail was. At least a third of my hair was gone. I just quickly paid and left because I was starting to cry and didn't want to have a meltdown in front of these people. I also knew there was no going back. I contacted the salon shortly after to try to speak to a manager or owner to express my concern and receive a refund. Someone called me back, but said she wasn't a manager and would pass along the message. No one ever reached out to me. I left another voicemail asking for a refund and no one ever reached out. It's concerning to me that they would have someone on staff who is so incompetent and then make no effort to make things right with the customer. It will take years and copious amounts of money to get my hair back. The least they could do is give me a refund for the haircut that ruined my hair. No one should be leaving a haircut with more damage than they came in with."

The salon is very modern with a rustic touch and right in the heart of downtown Syracuse. 10/10 for customer service, cut, color, style and good vibes!"
