At MASIC, we offer an extensive collection of vital resources, including core journals in marine and atmospheric sciences, comprehensive monographs, essential reprints, and a valuable collection of SoMAS master's theses and doctoral dissertations. Our holdings also include MSRC Special Reports, Technical Reports, nautical charts, maps, and a broad general science reference collection, ensuring that students, researchers, and professionals have access to the information they need.

Welcome to Bridge Gardens, a serene five-acre sanctuary nestled in the heart of Bridgehampton, New York. Located at 36 Mitchell Lane, our unique public and demonstration garden invites visitors to explore its diverse array of plant life and sustainable gardening practices. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Bridge Gardens offers free admission to all. Originally donated by Jim Kilpatric and Harry Neyens in 2008, Bridge Gardens is now lovingly maintained by the Peconic Land Trust. The garden retains its original charm while embracing new elements that align with our conservation mission. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of native and non-native perennials, shrubs, and trees, a vast vegetable garden supporting local food pantries, and a stunning rose garden. Our distinctive 4-quadrant herb garden showcases culinary, medicinal, ornamental, and textile/dye plants.

Nestled amidst vibrant marine habitats, our park offers a unique and immersive educational experience that combines marine science with artistic expression. Explore the natural wonders of the ocean beach, dunes, Shinnecock Bay, salt marshes, and seagrass meadows right from our doorstep. At Tiana Bayside, outdoor exploration is at the heart of our programming. Join us for seining, hiking, and hands-on discovery as part of our regular activities. Our Bayside Adventure and ArtSea week-long summer programs, available from July to August, invite youth to delve into the fascinating world of marine science. These programs encourage students to engage in scientific inquiry, perform experiments, and immerse themselves in the diverse marine life surrounding our facility.
