Proudly maintained by the Moriches Bay Historical Society, the Homestead offers a captivating glimpse into the lives of its final residents, John Scudder and Mary Pelletreau Havens. Originally built in 1740, the Homestead underwent a significant transformation in 1898, merging its 1750 remodel with the elegant American shingle style that was popular at the turn of the century.
