Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge
The Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge, located in Sussex, New Jersey, is a beautiful park and tourist attraction that offers visitors the opportunity to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the area. The refuge headquarters, located at 1547 County Route 565, is a hub for various environmental educational programs and features the Dagmar Dale Nature Trail and public bathrooms that are open year-round. Please note that the Dagmar Dale North Trail is currently closed until further notice, but the Dagmar Dale South Trail has reopened. Dogs are only allowed on the Liberty Loop Trail and must be kept on a leash at all times. Service dogs are allowed on all refuge trails and facilities.
