The Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation, located at 1721 McKinley Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey, is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Jazz in the area. The foundation aims to create pride in Black heritage, promote family values and unity in Atlantic County, and educate the community and tourists about the original American art form of jazz. The foundation offers free music lessons to Atlantic City youth through the Chicken Bone Beach Youth Jazz Institute on Indiana Avenue. Additionally, they sponsor a free summer concert series at Kennedy Plaza featuring jazz greats from around the United States and run a 3-week Summer jazz camp for Atlantic City students.
