"Haddonfield Direct Primary Care is the best investment I have made medically. I see Dr. Runfola once every month for physical, psychological and weight issues. It is White Glove treatment for a very reasonable monthly fee. Dr. Runfola is very competent. He also has a very affable side to him which makes the visits pleasant and relaxed. Not being regulated by the insurance companies unfetters the visits so more time can be spent ferreting out the problems and solutions. This promotes quality customized care rather than factory line assembly. Joining Haddonfield Direct Primary Care has been one of the wisest decisions I've made. Dr. Runfola Is my "go-to man" for all that ails me. He never lets me down."

"Dr. Runfola is a wonderful, intelligent, kind and caring doctor. I was a patient of Haddonfield Family Practice for 30+ years, as I started seeing them when I was 7 years old. While all of the doctors were great, when Dr. Runfola joined the practice, he quickly became my favorite because he is so understanding, personable and easy to talk to. So I think I’ve been his patient for 20+ years and can fully attest to the care he provides. I decided to write this review because I noticed a one star review where someone stated, “He thinks more about money than his oath as a doctor. He is a disgrace.” I know Dr. Runfola doesn’t need anyone to defend him, but this needs to be addressed. I’m assuming this is in reference to Dr. Runfola restructuring and moving his practice. When I first heard that I would need a membership to continue to be a patient of Dr. Runfolas, I was crushed. When he left, I continued to stay at Haddonfield Family Practice and saw one of the new doctors. Needless to say this was really upsetting, it was like starting all over, especially since my medical issues are extensive. So those of you that are upset, I understand your frustrations and the challenges you are facing. However, if you were a patient of Dr. Runfola’s you know how much he cares about each of his patients and it’s disrespectful to suggest anything else. I’m assuming you didn’t have a chance to hear why Doctor Runfola chose to change to a membership practice. If you had, you would have heard the heartfelt sadness he expressed coming to this decision and frustrations he felt daily because he wasn’t able to provide his patients with the extra time and care they deserved. With insurance companies and the way they work (or don’t work), in order for the old practice to continue to be financially viable, he had to spend only 15 minutes with each patient. This is barely enough time to discuss symptoms, physically check symptoms, determine a solution, order medication or tests etc. While he never appeared any other way but happy, I cannot fathom the stress any doctor would feel under these circumstances, let alone a compassionate doctor like Dr. Runfola. Luckily, I was eventually able to find money in my budget to become a member of his new practice and I totally understand his decision now. Every time I visit, he spends 30-45 minutes with me. My first visit was closer to an hour. He has the time to really listen, discuss and understand the multifaceted health issues I have and help me understand and put together pieces. In addition, his patients are now able to contact him via text or cell phone. I don’t know many doctors who would chose to give patients this kind of access, unless they cared, regardless of the compensation. It is clear that this new practice allows him to give his patients the extra time they need and deserve, which was his goal with the switch. Again, I understand feeling frustrated, but Dr. Runfola doesn’t deserve anything but the same positivity he would bestow on you. If you are upset, be upset with the insurance companies and the challenges doctors face because of them. I know I am blessed to be able to continue to receive patient care from Dr. Runfola because it’s hard to find a doctor like him."
