Located on Garfield Avenue, Liberty Park has been empowering residents in the planning, implementation, and care of Jersey City’s parks and open spaces since 2005. As the city's dedicated non-profit partner, we manage activities and events, maintain lush gardens, advocate for playgrounds, and preserve the rich history of our area. Our network of 29 member parks thrives on the support of community volunteers, who play a crucial role in keeping Jersey City green and welcoming. Each year, hundreds of residents come together for National Make A Difference Day, one of the largest annual single-day service events nationwide. In Fall 2021, the #JCBigDig saw over 16,000 tulip, daffodil, and allium bulbs planted by dedicated Jersey City locals.
