History museum visit in Westfield, New Jersey

The Westfield Historical Society, located at 314 Mountain Avenue in Westfield, New Jersey, is a renowned institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of the area. The society also owns the Miller-Cory House Museum, a circa-1740 historic house operated as a "living museum" by dedicated volunteers. The museum is open most Sundays from September to June and by appointment during the week. Both the Reeve House and the Miller-Cory House are registered as national and state historic sites, offering visitors a glimpse into the past. The society's Archives hold a vast collection of historical artifacts and documents, open to the public for research and exploration. Volunteers are always welcome to assist in sorting and organizing the Archives.
