Historical Society Museum
The Historical Society Museum, located at 602 Main Street in Lumberton, New Jersey, is a treasure trove of artifacts and photos that showcase the rich history of the town. Founded in 1974 by a group of passionate citizens, the museum houses a collection that has been gathered over the past 40 years. From architecture to the lives of residents, the museum offers a glimpse into the past of Lumberton. The museum is housed in the Ridgeway Gaun Community Center, named after Mr. Gaun, a former Township Clerk. Open on the third Saturday of the month from September to May, the museum also offers appointments for interested parties.
