"I had terrible experience from working with the Paralegal Lina Monsalve. I want to share my experience so that it may serve as a word of caution with potential clients who are searching for a good Paralegal Service. In my opinion I would recommend continuing searching and not settle with her services. Her price is affordable for an uncontested divorce. My case is regarding a divorce. It is complicated in nature because my wife has been bent on making this process difficult and the paralegal was made aware of it. When I contacted her first was to make a document for a mutual agreement between my wife and me. However, my wife chose not to sign, and I was unable to move forward with that document. Months later I reached out to Lina to proceed with a complaint divorce which would not have required my wife's’ signature. After paying for this new complaint to be filed. I than paid for the court fee. The next step was to get my wife served. I asked Lina a question, not for legal advice via text. My question was what were to happen if my wife avoids getting served by the sheriff? I wanted to know this to seek a different alternative rather than on a gamble of spending additional every time to have the sheriff come to the house to serve her. That price is good for three attempts but again my wife is making things difficult, so I expected her to be avoidant towards the sheriff. Lina responded to get a subpoena or an attorney. I continued to ask what the purpose of a subpoena is just trying to understand better, but she just brushed me off and ignored me. I expressed my frustration, and she replied back with stating how I contacted her more than 5 times after being informed of the office hours. With response to that I did not call more than 5 times. I managed to reach her personal number after hours probably only twice when called. After she informed me of the office hours, I stopped calling her after hours. I would like to mention that I was given her personal number to call her if I had questions and I could not reach her at the office. Being that I was unable to reach her at her office which I was never successful in doing so was why I would contact her on her personal line. I texted her and would wait for her response. When she would respond was after hours when I expected her to respond during the next day in business hours. She further states that I cancelled appointment several times. Again, my marriage is difficult with wife that is purposely making things difficult, but I canceled once but I provided sufficient time in canceling and she told me that same day that the next time I cancel that I would be charged a cancelation fee, I apologized as I understood that her time is valuable, and it would be affecting her business if I continued to cancel. I never canceled since. I did happen to ask a question regarding changing the terms of the divorce but decided against it. It was only a question I had asked and never proceeded in moving forwarded with making an amendment. Lina Monsalve is not interested in putting the client's needs first and doesn’t seem to care as she lacks patience and holds on to her frustrations and considers questions minor inconveniences. She proven to demonstrate a lack of empathy and sympathy for her clients and seems to be working in this field to collect a check. I paid her and she cannot say that her time was wasted as she was compensated for her time, but my time is lost because now no one wants to pick up where I left off. Lina knows this and could care less. I expressed that I did not have a desire to continue with her serves however after reaching out to attorneys’ they are not willing to pick up where I left off. I was not disrespectful at most I would say that my case was difficult due to my circumstances however her inability to practice patience for her clients even when getting pay shows her unprofessionalism to be considered customer serve friendly.
