Welcome to the practice of Dr. Elliot B. Sambol, MD, a highly skilled and compassionate vascular and general surgeon located in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey. Dr. Sambol, born and raised in Lakewood, NJ, has a distinguished academic and professional background. As a valedictorian of his high school and a cum laude graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in neurobiology, Dr. Sambol pursued his medical education at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. His excellence was recognized through his election to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Sambol completed a rigorous General Surgery residency at NYU Medical Center and further honed his skills with two years of surgical research at the prestigious Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He then specialized with a fellowship in Vascular/Endovascular Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, affiliated with Cornell and Columbia medical schools. He is double board-certified in both Vascular and General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and holds RPVI credentials for Vascular Lab studies.
