The Afro Brazilian Cultural Center of New Jersey is a vibrant institution located at 129 Whittlesey Avenue in West Orange, New Jersey. As a gym focused on health and wellness, the center offers a variety of classes and activities, with a special emphasis on the traditional martial art of Capoeira. Led by Coordinator Mestre Gaivota, the center aims to preserve and promote Afro Brazilian culture through education and community engagement. Additionally, the center operates as a 501(c)3 Not for Profit organization, providing scholarships for children to participate in Capoeira classes.
