Nails in the Wall Gallery is a unique institution located at 17 Oak Avenue in Metuchen, New Jersey. As a combination art gallery and beauty salon, it offers a diverse range of artistic expressions for visitors to enjoy. This permanent gallery space, a ministry of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, is now in its eighth season and continues a long tradition of providing a home for the arts. The current exhibit focuses on the theme of communication, featuring works by 32 artists from 4 states and 3 countries. The gallery is open for viewing Tuesday through Friday from 10-1, with additional viewing opportunities available by appointment. In addition to the communication-themed exhibit, Nails in the Wall Gallery also addresses the topic of housing and homelessness through various works of art.
