Water Tower

Old Yellow Meeting House

The institution will be open for Weekend in Old Monmouth on May 4th and 5th, 2024, and will also host a performance by Charlie, a popular balladeer, on August 18th at 6:00 pm. Dating back to the 1700s, the Old Yellow Meeting House is an important piece of New Jersey history. Although no longer used for regular worship services, the Meeting House is maintained by volunteers and open to the public during events or by special arrangement. The Parsonage is privately occupied and not open to the public.

Thanks to the generosity of Virtua Health Systems, we have a new and permanent home that we are proud of. Our acquisition process was completed in May 2022 after years of preparation, despite being interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We invite you to visit us on Thursdays from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, as well as on the second and last Saturdays from 1pm-4pm. As a 100% volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization, we are dedicated to our community and educating our visitors. Our carefully curated collection aims to share knowledge and ideas, sparking excitement and imagination in our guests. Admission is free, but donations for visits and research are appreciated.
