At the Raritan Bay Area YMCA, we offer a range of resources to assist guardians in helping their children with behavioral health issues. We provide basic information on behavioral health topics and a comprehensive list of support services available in the community. Additionally, we offer food assistance for neighbors in need, safe spaces for kids to learn and grow, and outreach programs for seniors who may be feeling isolated.

The Water Tower institution, located in Bernardsville, New Jersey, United States, is home to the Cross Estate Gardens. These gardens, a project of the New Jersey Historical Garden Foundation in partnership with the National Park Service, are situated on the Cross Estate, which is the site of the New Jersey Brigade Unit of Morristown National Historical Park. The Gardens feature a mix of formal and native gardens, a wisteria-covered pergola, and a mountain laurel allee. Visitors can explore the Cross Estate Gardens daily from 8am to 8pm in the Summer, with free parking and no entry fees. The Gardens are lovingly maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers who meet every Wednesday morning from April to November. There are opportunities for garden tours, plant sales, and special events like the Annual Talk & Tea.

The Old Yellow Meeting House, located at 72 Yellow Meetinghouse Road in Upper Freehold, New Jersey, is a historic tourist attraction that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The Friends of the Old Yellow Meeting House work diligently to preserve and care for the Meeting House, Parsonage, and Cemetery, respecting the historical character and rural setting of the property. The institution will be open for Weekend in Old Monmouth on May 4th and 5th, 2024, and will also host a performance by Charlie, a popular balladeer, on August 18th at 6:00 pm. Dating back to the 1700s, the Old Yellow Meeting House is an important piece of New Jersey history. Although no longer used for regular worship services, the Meeting House is maintained by volunteers and open to the public during events or by special arrangement. The Parsonage is privately occupied and not open to the public.

The Riverside Historical Society is now located at 3 Franklin Street in Riverside, New Jersey. Thanks to the generosity of Virtua Health Systems, we have a new and permanent home that we are proud of. Our acquisition process was completed in May 2022 after years of preparation, despite being interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We invite you to visit us on Thursdays from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, as well as on the second and last Saturdays from 1pm-4pm. As a 100% volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization, we are dedicated to our community and educating our visitors. Our carefully curated collection aims to share knowledge and ideas, sparking excitement and imagination in our guests. Admission is free, but donations for visits and research are appreciated. Welcome to the Mercer County Library: Hightstown Memorial Branch, a cherished community hub located at 114 Franklin Street, Hightstown, New Jersey. Nestled by the serene Peddie Lake, our branch offers a unique blend of history, tranquility, and modern resources. Established in 1921, the library became a branch of the Mercer County Library in 1969 and has since grown to become a vital part of our community. Our library stands out with its beautiful reading room overlooking the lake and a cozy fireplace in the main room, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a good book. We offer a wide array of resources, including ten public computers, an extensive collection of books, magazines, DVDs—particularly children’s educational videos—as well as music CDs and books on CD. Our Spanish collection further enriches our diverse offerings.
