Wentworth Watershed Association
β ClosedThe Wentworth Watershed Association, located at 591 B Center Street in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, is a park dedicated to improving water quality in the Wentworth-Crescent Watershed. Working with the town of Wolfeboro, property owners, and users, the Association implements best management practices to protect the watershed. They also conserve land to safeguard water quality, natural habitats, wildlife, and view-sheds. Educating the community on land stewardship and sustainable practices is a key focus of the Association. The recent official declaration of the ice being out marked the earliest date on record for the contest. Additionally, repairs to the Mast Landing Boat ramp and docks have been completed. The Association is currently running the Ice Out Contest, where participants can predict the date and time the ice will melt for a chance to win a WWA hat.
