Ski, Shoe & Fatbike to the Clouds is an exhilarating event located in Gorham, New Hampshire, United States. Participants can choose their division and challenge themselves on the snow-covered Mt. Washington Auto Road. The course consists of 4k on the Great Glen Trails system followed by a 6k ascent up the Mt. Washington Auto Road, known as "North America's Toughest 10K", with an average grade of 12% and an elevation gain of 2,200 feet. Originally started in 1996 as "Ski to the Clouds", the event now includes snowshoes and fatbikes. Participants must complete the 10 KM course using one pair of skis, snowshoes, or a fatbike (no switching allowed). It is recommended that participants are experienced in their chosen sport as they will need to ski, snowshoe, or fatbike the 6 kilometers down the Mt. Washington Auto Road after finishing the race.
