The 32nd Street Theater is a historical landmark located at 3606 North Rancho Drive in Las Vegas, Nevada. This theater is not only a cultural hub in the community, but also serves as the home for the 'Unity Through Knowledge' Historical Black College and University Tour. Founded in 1994 by Pastor Kelcey A. West, this tour takes place during Easter/Spring Break and aims to introduce students to the rich history and opportunities offered by Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Over 2600 students have participated in this college preparatory tour program, with many going on to pursue higher education at HBCUs. Mario Gaspar De Alba, MD, is an institution located at 4505 South Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Dr. De Alba is an Associate Professor and Chief of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. He also serves as the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, working to create a culture of inclusion and health equity within the school to better serve the community. As the Medical Director of the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation Ackerman Center, Dr. De Alba leads an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating children with neurodevelopmental challenges. He is dedicated to educating families, residents, and students on early child development, early intervention, and the impact it can have on future quality of life. Dr. De Alba's areas of interest include autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning challenges.
