“Absolutely amazing service!! The lady who owns the shop gave me and my friends some of the best customer service we’d ever received. She gave us a brief history of the main chef and offered samples and was very patient with us while we decided what we wanted. The quality of the food was amazing! You could tell effort was put in every piece. If I were to ever come back to Napier, I would come back for this shop alone.”

“I went here for the first time with my family and we all ordered different meals. ALL of them were incredible; I had the fresh salmon which is honestly the freshest salmon I've ever had! The portions are amazing and with complimentary miso, and all for an affordable price! Will definitely eat here again and again. Now I look forward to going to Taradale for my sushi fix and Japanese meal fix :) I wish we took photos to share but we were too busy enjoying our meals!”

“The number of people who were here is testimony to how good it is; it was packed. Comprehensive Italian pasta/pizza menu. Pizzas done in wood fired oven. Staff were so friendly, even under pressure of volume of people at this restaurant. Highly recommended and I will be back.”

We had the sashimi salad and pumpkin soup to start, I don’t know if it is because it is a quiet day or their usual, but the portions were MASSIVE - we probably didn’t really need mains, but I was very happy to have got the Gruyère soufflé - and forced myself to finish it because it was so good. My daughter had the eggplant thingy which is just a symphony of flavour and texture combo. They also served complimentary ciabatta. Great drinks options. Service was efficient and friendly.
