“We had a wonderful weekend away to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends. Loads of space and the perfect amount of rooms. Fun games to play, tennis court and table tennis. All set in a quiet country area. It was easy to get to places we wanted to go. Close to the bikeways. Pen was there to greet us and show us around and was an excellent hostess. I would highly recommend staying at the Lawn Road Retreat. All our friends loved our time there.”

Although the motel is older style, the place has been renovated with excellent facilities e'g new showers, toilets, bathroom, carpets, beds etc. The supplied teas/coffees/biscuits were generous and good quality. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The motel is on the main road but traffic noise was minimal. The owners were very friendly & helpful. I noticed they looked us in the eyes when they spoke with us, rather than just treating us a passing supplier of revenue! Well done. We'll stay with you again”
