"Been working out here for 25 years"
"Wish the college would take back the Longview facility. The pool is hardly ever open. They have a shortage of lifeguards. Instead of hiring more they have just shortened the pool hours. Swim teams take up a lot of the pool time anyway so it is tough for members to find time to swim. You have to work around their schedules. There have been many times I have come after work only to be told “sorry the lifeguards didn’t show for work the pool is closed”. The hot tub is broken a lot. Not well run at all."
"Memberships to all of the LSPR community centers is a fantastic deal. Very inexpensive. The facilities have lots of amenities and their fitness classes are the best in the city. Unlimited classes are included in the membership."
"Nice, clean looking facility. Looks like they have a lot to offer. Picking up my granddaughter from swimming during the day. Currently two young people are playing basketball while a group of senior citizens are playing pickle ball on the adjoining court. The exercise room is currently empty. Has a fireplace and a couple of televisions. Upstairs appears to have exercise equipment."
"The monthly price for access to 4 buildings is a great value. Especially since they have a 25m pool. I've enjoyed the pool. I do have to say though, their lifeguards are not very attentive. I've been in the pool for an hour at night pretty much alone and the lifeguard was facing the hot tub talking to a guy the entire time. I'm glad I am not worried about needing a lifeguard but it would be nice to know they are at least facing the pool. The equipment upstairs is nice, walking track is a little small but it's nice that it exists. They have tons of classes and I like that they offer childcare. Overall the staff has been very friendly and I've enjoyed being a member."
