Established in 1957, the institution is a chapter of the national trade association representing over 3,300 members with 50 chapters nationwide. The mission of the IEC of Greater St. Louis is to advance the interests of its members through ethical business practices, superior training, legislative advocacy, and community awareness while promoting the merit shop philosophy.
