"I am not a client of Mr Leightner and for that I am TRULY thankful. My ex wife hired him to file our divorce which was finalized January of 2009. To my understanding, the lawyer who represented her for the divorce never filed. Mr Leightner has got to be the worst lawyer of all time. He doesn’t respond to emails, calls or any correspondence within a timely manner. My ex wife and I have reached an agreement without the courts interfering. This agreement is in addition to the divorce decree which is established. All that is needed is for Mr Leightner to sign, his client (my ex wife) has signed, I have signed and my lawyer signed. Because he feels it’s not to his liking, he has delayed signing the paperwork for over a month. My ex wife (his client) has repeatedly requested him to sign and return the paperwork ASAP!! She advised him that she is in total agreement with the modification that has been added. Mr Leightner has taken vacation, contracted Covid (my prayers are that he makes a full recovery) and just flat out ignored calls from everyone regarding this matter. Even after he stated he would sign and return the documents, he did not. No one in the office has taken the initiative to help speed this matter along. By the way, we started this process back in March of this year (2023). Therefore, the other partner at this law firm is obviously the best route to go when choosing this firm for representation."
