Apple Park
Apple Park, located at 106 Webb Street in Duenweg, Missouri, is a beautiful park with a rich history. The park is situated on the site where the Apple Family's home and the old water tower once stood, at the southeast corner of Irwin and Sterling. The park was made possible through donations by the descendants of W.A. (Al) and Nellie Apple, who operated the waterworks for the citizens of Duenweg until 1956. Apple Park is dedicated to their memory and serves as a place for the community to come together and enjoy the outdoors. In addition to Apple Park, Bartley Park is another lovely location in Duenweg with a historical significance. The park is located where the Bartley family homestead once stood, behind the parking lot at 8084 E 7th Street. The Bartley family played a key role in the development of Duenweg, establishing mines and a blacksmith shop that helped the town grow into what it is today. Bartley Park is a peaceful spot where visitors can relax and reflect on the history of the area.
