LME

"If I could leave zero I would, What a joke, driver tries to deliver pallet to our dock, the driver swings to wide and ended up in the ditch. Driver comes in tells me he has freight wants to know if I have a fork truck that could push him out. No was the answer, So he calls dispatch and the company decides to call a wrecker to pull him out. This truck is blocking the whole access to the building I must add, so the wrecker gets him out. I decide to walk to see if they needed anything and the driver tells me "I'm done for the day you are not getting your pallet" I actually thought he was joking and walked back in. He gets back in his truck finally backs out on the the main road and heads out. I NEVER GOT MY FREIGHT AND HE WAS 30 FEET FROM MY DOCK BECAUSE HE WAS MAD! . This was not my issue and my freight still has not been delivered. WHO DOES THAT TO A CUSTOMER!"

"To echo Jeff Hardesty, I also would give them a zero rating. I would advise against using LME for shipping or receiving. We have the same issues as Jeff has had and not just with this current shipment. A year and a half ago we had the same issue with LME with a shipment from Global Logistics. The shipment sat on their dock for over a week with a different excuse given each day as to why they could not deliver. Excuses given were the truck broke down, somebody else was using the truck that day, the driver was sick, need a straight truck, etc. Every day was a different excuse not to deliver. After a week we told them to just send the shipment back to where it came from. Our current order from Country Malt was supposed to be delivered on Monday. Tuesday I called LME to find out where the shipment was and the response given is that it was scheduled on the wrong type of truck. Its not my problem that the wrong truck was scheduled. You accepted the shipment therefore you are responsible for getting it to the customer. Its called customer service. For those ordering from Country Malt Group you can instruct them not to ship with LME and/or choose a specific carrier such as R&L Trucking who always/consistently delivers exceptional service even with a 53' truck. You know its bad when the logistics company shipping the freight tells you LME is notoriously terrible. The logistics company also told me that they had spoken to Country Malt Group and LME about this and as a result of this transaction they will no longer do business with LME. Hopefully they were straight up with me. . As Jeff closed with his comments I will do the same. "It's not like we have a business to run or anything.""

"I would give them 0 stars if I could. Allegedly were going to deliver on a Wednesday, rescheduled on a Thursday for first thing on Friday. Didn't show up no call or information provided. Said first thing on Monday. No call contacted them and was told 1-2pm. 3pm still not here...now 5:30PM alledgedly it will be here. Don't worry I'm not trying to run a business or anything."

"I highly recommend against utilizing this company for shipping. Even when provided with all necessary information they had contacted me back in the middle of the package being delivered to inform me that there would be an extra charge for residential to residential which was made blatantly obvious when I was requesting the quote. And then I was met with hostility when I disagreed with the charge. Unprofessional and unwilling to work with the customer."
