As part of the Smithville Parks & Recreation department, our mission is to provide experiences through parks, natural spaces, and leisure opportunities for the entire community. With 9 city parks, including Smith's Fork Campground and over 300 acres of parkland, we strive to create a welcoming environment for all. Our recreation department serves over 6,615 participants annually through a variety of youth and adult recreation sport leagues and programs. We are constantly working on enhancing our parks, with Diamond Crest Park nearing completion as our first park enhancement project under the SPR Master Planning process established in 2021.
