Little Platte Swim Beach

"I'm shocked that I'm not seeing anyone else mentioning the geese, and in particular, the geese poop. It's everywhere. Including in the water, of course. We had a flock (a gaggle, I guess?) come through while we were there and we counted 49 geese. That many birds produce a lot of feces. If not for the geese, it would be a nice little beach, but with the geese issue, it's not. I love that the geese are thriving, but as long as they're choosing to use this beach as their restroom, we won't be back."

"I went there to kayak. It was peaceful, and clean. I will definitely go again!"

"Very nice park with a sand beach for swimming. Many Picnic tables and large shady trees. Clean bath house. Would have rated it five stars if there was some kind of snack bar or pop machine. Be sure to bring your own food and drinks because there is not much close to buy anything."

"This place used to be nice. Now, the sand has all washed away and broken glass everywhere. The fresh water wash off area was not working. People were rude. We made the best of it but left early. Probably won't be back."

"Its a really nice place to relax and spend time with the family but it would be better if they had a small grocery store or at least a vending machine for emergencies."
