"Worst Customer Service Experience Ever. I have emailed corporate and the BBB. This is the most unprofessional operation I have ever seen in my life. The disrespect and condescending way this woman spoke to me and my mother was down right uncalled for and unacceptable. She tried to bully my mother into purchasing the additional insurance. If it's OPTIONAL and she said NO that should be the end of it. She was very belittling and rude to us the entire time. She charged me for an additional driver when I was the only driver, it was my reservation, but because we had to switch it to my mothers credit card because she wouldn't take MY MAJOR credit card, that made me the "additional driver". First and Last time I will ever use Budget/Avis. Save yourself the stress. Do NOT rent from this location! Worst experience of my life."

"I wouldn’t give one star but I had to. I will never rent a car from them ever again. First off car was dirty upon pick up cleaned it myself because I didn’t have time to wait for a different car. Ended up with a nail in the tire had no spare so called for roadside that I paid for to be told to figure it out because we can’t send you a different car at your location which was in the middle of no where. Had the car towed once we made it home after filling up air in the tire every 30-40 miles for a 3 1/2 hr drive home. I would have just dropped it off but it was midnight by the time we made it home. Called them to let them know. Said everything was good. Woke up Saturday with a 1,300 dollar charge for vehicle not being dropped off at the location after we had called to tell them it had to be towed. After we had pre paid for the vehicle before pick up. Then an additional 286 for towing fee to an additional 256 for insurance (roadside). I’ve called and requested to speak to a supervisor and manger on multiple occasions and yet have heard back being told it takes 24-48 hrs for someone to call back it’s been well over 72 hrs and have not heard anything. I’ve called everyday since sat with broken promises. Plus I called roadside to see where the vehicle was taken and had to call budget to let them know where the vehicle was. They couldn’t be bothered enough to find out where it was told me that I would have to call. Stay away and never rent from them unless you feel like having a ton of money taken from you and a headache! This was April 24, 2024."

"Absolutely worst customer service experience I’ve had. First I had a full size pick up paid for and they try to pass off a midsize pick up to me and said that all they had and too bad. I kept saying no I paid for a full size. Suddenly a full size pick up shows up, with dirty socks in the trunk, and on the way home the low tire pressure comes on. So I go back and ask for a new truck and they give me my third truck. I go to check it out and the back left taillight is shattered. I go in again to have them get me another truck. The lady said that’s all they have. I’m like okay can you call me another store then? She said no I already did. No she didn’t I was outside for less an a minute. Also how would she know to call another store for me before I even saw the truck. I ask again can you please call another store? So she did and put it on speaker. After three rings she ends the call and says “no answer.” This truck rental is for my wedding in another state that I leave for the same day as the rental pick up. So after them not having any other trucks. And after the third truck and the guy saying “it’s fine the tail light still works.” I said “No, I’m not driving a truck states over with a busted taillight and not get a ticket on the way.” With no other options I take the second truck again and ask the male to come check to make sure the tire is okay. He did not and told ME to go take it to Firestone. And if there’s first storms all over and they can just bill budget. That shouldn’t be my responsibility to get their vehicle checked and fixed on my time. Firestone being busy said it might be a slow leak, which it was. Also never got a receipt because they already processed the third truck. She just wrote the truck number for the second truck on the third truck paperwork and kept it. So each day for my 9 day rental every morning I had to fill my tire up because it deflated over night. On the way home the back tail light went out and low on wiper fluid popped up. Never again will I ever go to O’Fallon budget and use Budget rentals."
