First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a welcoming place of worship located at 11 West Pine Street in Butler, Missouri, United States. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper, or Communion, in our weekly worship services, open to all who believe in Jesus Christ. Our faith is centered around the belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and we encourage personal freedom guided by the Bible, the Holy Spirit, study, and prayer. In baptism, we set aside our old self-centered life and begin a new life of trust in God. While we practice baptism by immersion, we honor other baptism traditions as well. We believe in the unity of all Christians in Christ and strive for common witness and service.
