She is also an Instructor in Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Wilson received her medical education from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, and completed her residency and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She holds certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Sanderson holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri at St. Louis and completed her internship at the St. Louis Veterans Administration.
