St. Luke's Urgent Care - Arnold

"Came here with a dog bite and waited three hours, even though I checked in or whatever several hours before, while numerous others without apparent physical wounds were being treated. Finally, after seeing the doctor he attempted to get me to go to a hospital to get IV antibiotics, x-rays just in case a tooth broke off in the wound, and a recommendation of a hand specialist for what was described as something like potentially necessary physical therapy or something. What solved my issue was the antibiotic prescription that only cost me $10 while this guy was trying to upsell me on thousands, potentially tens of thousands, in treatment. During this visit, I was given a small cup of saline solution and the doctor poked my wound a bit. I paid a $50 copay and they billed my insurance company almost 10x as much. They also billed my insurance for an additional copay after I had already paid it. I go in to see if this can be cleared up and refunded, and no of course you have to call someone to get that done. Only here to overcharge you and take your money, not here to really try to help you, and certainly not in any kind of timely fashion. Go somewhere else, you won't regret it."

"Most unprofessional place I’ve ever been. They are the worst urgent care. Save your time and go somewhere that cares. Tested positive and they forgot to call and let me know I had to call and get the results myself."

"Well as far as the care goes it was below acceptable. I went in for a foot injury thinking it probably had a broken toe. I spoke to the NP and they took x-rays. Sometime later they came back and told me that everything was fine. There was no fracture and it just looked like I had previously injured the area. I could barely walk and I didn't quite agree but said ok. I went to a competent physician the next day and indeed, my foot was fractured. Moving on to billing. My insurance covers visits to this facility but there is a copay. I know this because I checked before I went. Before I left that day, I went back to the front desk and tried to pay for my visit but was informed that I owed nothing. This didn't seem right, so I had them verify and they again told me the same thing. A few months later I received a notification from them saying I owe the full price for the visit. So now, they have failed to diagnose a clear problem, refuse to let me pay what I owe them, and then proceed to tell me I owe them an exponential amount more than I do. I tried reaching out again regarding the payment but to no avail, so I let the insurance company take care of it. From the care provided to basic office administration the facility is subpar to say the least. Do not waste your time or risk your well-being by attending this facility."

"I have never experienced such a rude NP as I did today, and I have been in the medical field 24+ yrs. Sara Herbert was who saw me with zero compassion and no bedside manner. My wife has gone there as well and when I told her my experience she said did you have the NP with purple hair, yep sure did. So it's not just me! I will never be back nor should anyone."

"Came here with my 2 year old after a cut on her head. Was taken in quickly, front desk person was very friendly and quick. Was taken back right away. The nurse and nurse practitioner were great with my daughter and she didn’t cry at all even after getting a staple in her scalp. They were professional and kind and seemed like they really cared. Gave her a popsicle and stickers and we left with my daughter feeling better than when she came in. Overall great care."
