Shepard State Park is a recreational state park and campground located in Gautier, Mississippi. This 395-acre park offers a variety of outdoor activities including bike and nature trails, disc golf, archery range, and pavilion rentals. The park is situated in the heart of Singing River country, where the Pascagoula River earned its nickname from a legendary tale of the Pascagoula Indian nation. The park features 28 developed campsites, a bathhouse, tent camping, and picnicking areas. Visitors can make reservations for campsites, pavilions, and recreational fields online. The park also has an updated bathhouse with separate accommodations for men and women. Please note that the bridge on Graveline Rd, just west of the park, is closed.
