Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus

"GIVES A BAD REPUTATION FOR HILTON!!! There were only two nice ladies Ramona and Shalonda. The other lady at the front desk was either nice or very much not nice. There was a sign on the bathroom mirror that said cleaning is every other day. They never cleaned, when I asked they said that you had to request to have your room cleaned. Shouldn't they tell you that when you checked in for your stay? 11 nights and no cleaning, not even trash pick up! A coworker asked for cleaning and didn't get it. When you spend money and time you should be at least treated with respect, not disrespect! If it were not for the two nice ladies it would be all 1 stars. With so many choices, I would never make a choice for this hotel again. When I told the front desk that the dryer made a lot of noise and didn't dry well, I was told that I must have overloaded the dryer, which I didn't, and u was told that she didn't have any issues when she used it before and that I would have to tell the manager. When I said that I would, she said well, we can't get the parts to repair things around here, and there isn't anything wrong with it. The hallway was freezing and the room was cold. I tried to turn up the heat, but the heat couldn't go above 74, which couldn't have been accurate because it was still cold. The breakfast was adequate, but not really as should be expected. Diamond and not given an upgrade. My address appeared on another guest's bill, HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!! It must have been because they originally had my credit card assigned to the room also (NOT MY ROOM)! Fortunately, it was a coworker and not a stranger, but maybe it did happen with a stranger also. VERY FRUSTRATING. Choose another hotel, do yourself a favor."

"This place was a huge disappointment overall. Starting at front desk, poor attitude. Told them our light was out in bathroom, front desk told US to look for housekeeping. The hallways were freezing. No heat in our room, asked if they could look at, and of course nothing was done. Pretty awful breakfast, hot foods were cold. Stayed at lots of Hampton Inns and this by far was probably the worst. Cleanliness was sub par."

"Family reunion weekend Everyone was quite pleasant BUT they ran out of towels. I guess since they ran out of towels they just stopped cleaning rooms because my room was not refreshed as expected. Craziest part was they said they wouldn't have towels til midday the next day because housekeeping was gone for the day. I was not a happy camper since my flight left at 10am."

"We were upgraded to a king suite and the room was amazing. Someone who works at the hotel parks in front of the cart ramp every night and makes it impossible to bring your luggage to the hotel. The breakfast is great every morning."

"The location of this hotel is great. It has a Cracker Barrel across the street and lots of other places within a couple of miles. It was clean and mostly quiet. The things I didn't enjoy were the front desk folks seemed like they had rather be anywhere but there. This was the case each time I spoke with them. The second evening, I go up to my room and my key card didn't work. The breakfast was just kinda sad. Not necessarily a problem but the layout of the room was kinda wired. See picture. Overall it wasn't bad but I will stay at the Hampton Inn over in Westpoint next time I'm in the area."
